When you are someone who over commits or who has a challenge to saying no or renegotiating their priorities then you run the risk of not really being committed to anything at all – and there’s a cost for over-extending as it relates to your health, to the condition of your relationships and the results you produce.

The disruption is to pay attention to the commitments we make and to whom we say yes to and the reasons we make or continue to make those commitments. The disruption is to take the opportunity to see if we are saying YES to a commitment because of a disempowering reason or because of some disempowering story we have about ourselves. And Coach Nick and the Dudes of Disruption offer strategies to shift the conversation so you are committing to things that matter most and for the right reasons.

People and teams give significance to the most interesting things – sometimes we give meaning to things that are not necessary or all that meaningful in the big picture of life - Things like a sports game (game 7 of a playoff series), or TV shows (what the main character will say in an upcoming episode), or when making a big deal about the newest iPhone that’s coming out, etc. Yet we don’t always seem to take that same time and energy to give meaning to things that give our life more value - that give our life the real juice – the things that actually live in our reality.

Coach Nick and the Dudes of Disruption disrupt how we relate to acknowledging achievements and to look for more opportunities to celebrate – large or small - rather than taking things for granted – rather than living one moment to another without ever “smelling the roses” – after all, what you focus on expands. The disruptors emphasize the importance of creating a habit out of celebrating everything all the time.

As part of the celebration, the Dudes of Disruption show celebrates its two year anniversary – the original creators of the show, Gregory Nesmith and Tommy Spero join the disruption.

Coach Nick is on the “hot seat” with host Johnny Mandolin who owns and operates the City World Radio Network. Coach Nick of the Dudes of Disruption disrupts everything from how we define winning in our culture to the difference that being outwardly focused creates in your relationships everywhere. Coach Nick shares his thoughts on the importance of “being happy versus being right” – being happy is connected to your higher purpose whereas being right is ego based and creates separation.

On a scale of 1 to 10, “how solid is your word – how effective are you at keeping your commitments and promises?” Your score may be a predictor for the type of results you are producing in business, at home and in your community. And your score usually reflects how much you value and respect yourself.

Coach Nick and the Dudes of Disruption along with licensed Psychologist Dr. Jessica Koblenz, explore the impact on your life in the way you relate, interact and handle your promises and commitments. The disruptors share what gets in the way of keeping your word and share their perspectives on what’s possible when you are someone that people can count on (like really) and as someone who takes 100% responsibility for promises that get missed – how you handle a broken promise is as important as keeping it.

Do you ever feel like you are addicted to FB, email, Instagram, twitter or texting? Do you find it impossible to ignore your text when you feel the buzz on your phone or the email when you see that there are new messages in your inbox or when you see the number of new likes on your FB page? What would be possible if you could focus differently and eliminate these distractions? What would be possible that instead of connecting with people by typing messages you could connect face to face and have a verbal conversation?

Coach Nick and the Dudes of Disruption along with license Psychologist Dr. Jessica Koblenz explore the impact of too much social media has on relationship and the obsession with it can lead to depressive states. The disruptors share strategies and ways to use and leverage social media as healthy tool and one that brings you fulfillment.

What does it mean to be a dad? In today’s world, how do dads balance the home, the workplace as well as split house-holds and learn to define themselves and remain powerful in this new landscape?

Coach Nick invites guests into the studio from his Dudes of Disruption Men’s Group who will share their experiences of being a dad and explore new rules of disruption on ways fathers can bring a different version of themselves to impact their families and communities.

As adults, much of who we are, was informed by our relationship with the man who influenced us, our father. Whether he was present and engaged, disconnected, or not in our life at all, the relationship with our fathers has a great impact on who become.
